Tour the Illinois Veterans Home at Quincy

The Illinois Veterans' Home in Quincy is beautifully situated on a 200 acre campus just Northwest of Twelfth and Locust Streets in Quincy, Illinois.  Along with Veterans' Homes at Manteno, LaSalle, and Anna, it is operated by the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs. 

The primary mission of the Illinois Veterans Home at Quincy is to provide domiciliary, intermediate and nursing home (including alzheimer) care for nearly 600 veterans and their spouses. 

The campus is a virtual community unto itself as it provides physical therapy, recreation, social services, pharmacy, chaplaincy, security, medical records, X-ray, housekeeping, barber/beautician, postal and banking services.  It also has a library, coffee shop and a deer park.  Friends and relatives of residents are encouraged to visit them.
